Sailor Jerri
The Go F Yourself Crew FrontWoman & Education Director
Ahoy there I’m Sailor Jerri. I have been a Health Edutainer since 2008. I started my official adventure in Health Education at UC Davis. I got my BA degree in Sexuality Studies (a program housed in the Women & Gender Studies department) and I also minored in Human Development. My research was on sexualized and gendered objects, I studied everything from Barbie to Butt Plugs! After graduating I became the Education Director of Camouflage (a Local Mom and Pop Sex Shop that is a member of the Santa Cruz Community), where I spent over seven years in my position as professional Smut Peddler and Health Educator. I am a certified graduate from The SFSI (San Francisco Sex Information) Sex Educator's Training and a member of the SFSI Speaker Panel.
I grew up in in Bay Area and was introduced to the Bay Area Queer Community through my activities in the Bay’s Punk Music scene. Although I attended a fantastic public school I received Abstinence Only sex education which left me (and my peers) hungry for more information. Luckily I was blessed with a Mother who is a Biologist. She not only taught me all about proper anatomy and the facts related to reproduction but provided me fantastic resources and encouraged me to become a resource of factual information for my peers.
I am a community builder, and I believe a community is built on genuine personal connections. My goal is to help contribute to a larger community and be a part of something greater than myself. I have a passion for health education and I love sharing fact-based information and real life risk reduction life skills with people. I know how to make people feel entertained and comfortable and how to make the uncomfortable approachable.
I created "Sailor Jerri's Seven C's" as a way for folks to be introduced to complicated subjected related to sex, consent, health and pleasure.

CabinBoi Jordyn
The Crew’s Academic Ambassador and Latin American & Latino/Latina Education Expert
Well hello! CabinBoi Jordyn here, the genderf***ed, non-binary, queer who is seeking to tear down cisheteronormativity through inclusive language and comprehensive education on the full spectrum of gender and sexual identity. In 2013 I got my BA in Feminist Studies with a concentration in Gender and Sexuality Studies, and a minor in Latin American & Latino Studies.
I grew up along the U.S.-Mexico border and have always sought to use my experiences (read: privilege) as a white passing, often cis passing, Spanish-speaking individual to challenge discrimination based on race, gender, sex, and sexual identity. I challenge the society that questioned whether I knew the dark skinned man who was standing next to me while my father looked uncomfortably on as his lighter skinned child was assumed to be a victim of his sinister brown man’s agenda. I challenge the society who wants to shame my brown-skinned, religious grandmother for accepting their non-binary child and grandchild for who they are rather than pushing for their cisheteronormative conversion.
My background in activism has been through community organizing and consulting nonprofit groups advocating for equal rights for queer communities and individuals. I also have experience as a conference organizer, focusing on engaging communities in discourse around improving their resources, facilities, and creating spaces that promote safety for those who desire it. My goal at all times is to create a collective discourse that accepts and seeks out multiple subjective perspectives in order to create a fuller picture on what it means to be a queer individual deserving of the rights to live a life with dignity, respect, and inalienable rights.
